That's a load of rubbish, LIS has an excellent location for the Americas and W. Africa. People don't want to fly all the way to LON/PAR/AMS then backtrack to reach the Iberian peninsula/Italy/Morocco.

Totally disagree on the valuation of .5 cpp for Hilton. Of all the hotel brands, the points devaluation is the worst over the past 2 years.

IHG does not have a great portfolio for high end hotels, but for mid-tier customers it is the best program out there.
