Silver Oak has got to be one of the most overpriced of the already overpriced and uninteresting Napa Cabs out there. It makes me sad that US airlines have to serve wines that peaked in popularity in the 1990s. I guess they want a label that people have heard of – 95% of business travelers will care more about the label equity than the taste equity – but it shows so little imagination.
"I wonder when the alcohol obsession will go away"
Same, you can also add coffee to that.
It's all cat piss to me, but you have people willing to die on the hill of which brown-stained water, is more worthy of spending 15 times what it costs to produce, on.
So dumb.
Why don't you be honest and say that these are the wineries that are willing to slip in the mind control drugs that are the only logical reason why people keep flying the most evil airline in the world?
Screw the wine. Delta’s serving Fresca. That’s a win all day
Patz & Hall is a nice wine for an airline to serve.
I hope they offer Boone's Farm (not sure if they still make it) on flights out of ATL to MOB/JAN/MSY/DFW/IAH/DAB/PNS. Those customers would appreciate it.
I gotta ask - and not being a jerk. Does anyone actually think Delta is a "lifestyle brand". They might try to paint themselves that way but I don't get it. Sure, I'm based in Chicago and usually prefer Delta. But my husband has 2 Delta Amex cards with BOGOs so we fly them at least 2x a year - usually to BOS or ATL. I'm so underwhelmed every single time. There's always turbulence so minimal service, even in first. The premium carb basket is getting less premium. Boarding is less organized than UA (especially) or AA. I just don't get the perception of being special.
