Alright! I’m sold. Annual credits offset fees. New lounges, like at LGA, JFK, etc. But, C1 doesn’t approve folks with great credit. Seems like you need to ‘know a guy’ or get down to 0/24. Gonna keep trying, use their prequalified tool, but three hits every time…
One can also transfer their Capital One points to another Capital One card holder, which I don’t see mentioned in the piece.
I think its a great card. But their lounge network is limited. They started building lounges before Chase. But Chase has now overtaken them. The only upcoming lounge is at CLT. Correct me if i am wrong, but they have not announced any plans beyond that.
Ben, best review and comparison I've ever seen on a card. Thanks.
Great detailed review for a card I’ve had for many years and use for all my non-bonused spending. However there is a minor error with the comparison to the Chase Sapphire Reserve. It earns 3x points on dining, not 4x as (mis)stated in the review.
I don't know why my post about having killer credentials and being rejected for this card wasn't posted. Oh, well.
Hey All,
I am an authorized user and was wondering if the " $125 per authorized user per year for Lounge Access" is for a calendar year (i.e. If i pay $ 125 today, is it good until Oct 2027) or is it a Jan- Dec deal?
