Meghan Markle is officially back in the UK — and leaning back into her old style habits.
The Duchess of Sussex has perfected her combination of tailored silhouettes, elegant layered coats and designer accessories with a touch of extra sparkle, whether in California or across the pond.
On Wednesday afternoon, Markle was spotted leaving London’s Claridge’s Hotel with Malala Yousafzai, dressed in a cream-colored Co cashmere sweater ($575), wide-leg Ralph Lauren Collection pants ($1,990) and a sweeping Tove camel coat ($2,283).
She carried a black leather Chanel bag and strung a Logan Hollowell diamond and emerald necklace worth a whopping $21,425 around her neck. Plus, she covered her Oura ring with a diamond-encrusted sleeve from the same designer ($2,875).
Since the family moved across the pond a little over a month ago, the duchess has only been seen a handful of times in public.
Last week, she and Prince Harry kept it low-key for a quick trip to a Cotswolds pub, before which she was seen grabbing a bite with Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi.
Though they are not expected to be returning to royal life, it’s clear that Markle is continuing her advocacy, as evidenced by yesterday’s lunch date.
Yousafzai and Markle first teamed up in 2020 for a virtual discussion about International Day of the Girl.
At the time, Yousafzai shared on X, “Meghan and I are on the same page: we both believe that when girls have access to education, everyone wins.”
