Prince Harry is all about his family.
The Duke of Sussex said one rule he and his wife, Meghan Markle, have in their marriage is not to spend more than 10 days apart.
“The biggest factor for me is the energy and the joy and happiness that I get being with my family, especially our kids, and the joy and happiness I get by being on the ground for my work,” he said on the new MasterClass, “Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss.”
“The key to finding the joy and happiness balance is no more than 10 days away from my wife and kids,” Harry, who shares kids Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, with Markle, added.
“This is balancing my work and the purpose behind that as well as being a dad and a husband and the sort of multi-identity elements coming together.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Harry, 42, revealed that he fell into a depression after he, the Duchess of Sussex and their son, Archie, fled the UK to move to Canada in late 2019.

“Being in Canada, away from the stressful environment where presumably my body was just pumped full of adrenaline, within two or three days, I experienced this adrenaline crash, something that I’d never experienced before,” the dad of two shared.
Harry explained that he realized he “needed stress in order to get the adrenaline to make my brain function because I became useless around the house.”
“I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks and I felt like I couldn’t function without adrenaline,” he added.
The Invictus Games founder and Markle, 45, tied the knot in May 2018.
The following May, the couple welcomed Archie.
In January 2020, Harry and the As Ever founder announced they had quit the royal family to take a “progressive new role.”
The following June, the “Spare” author and Markle welcomed their daughter, Lilibet.
Six years after leaving the royal family, the Sussexes returned to live in the UK.
Page Six reported that Harry and his family relocated back across the pond to be closer to his dad, King Charles III, who is currently battling cancer.
