‘RHOSLC’ star Whitney Rose files for divorce from husband Justin after nearly 17 years of marriage

Whitney Rose has filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose, after nearly 17 years of marriage, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star — who attended Page Six’s second annual “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards Tuesday night — quietly submitted the paperwork in the Third District Court, Salt Lake Department just hours prior.

In Utah, many of the documents filed within a divorce case are classified as private, but we can confirm Whitney submitted a proposed parenting plan as well.

Reps for the Roses as well as those for Bravo did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.

Page Six exclusively revealed in July that Whitney and Justin were “living separate lives,” with a few informants even saying the two were fully separated.

“They are never together, even when they’re in the same place, like the gym,” one insider explained.

We were told the pair — who wed in November 2009 and share two children — had each expressed “frustrations” about their marriage to their trusted loved ones, with one source claiming they were “existing” as a couple “for the sake of the kids.”

Whitney, 40, and Justin, 58, are parents to daughter Bobbie, 16, and son Brooks, 13, while he is also dad to three sons from his first marriage.

Another informant claimed to us that Whitney was barely at her and Justin’s shared home before Season 7, which is currently airing, began filming in late February.

“This show is so bad on relationships,” one of our insiders argued, as Page Six broke the news of Angie Katsanevas’ separation from Shawn Trujillo just two days prior.

On a recently aired episode of the Bravo reality show, Whitney had an emotional conversation with Justin in which she admitted to being “in pain” after a “really rough” 2025, confessing, “I was using alcohol to cope with my struggles at home.”

In a later confessional, Whitney elaborated that “disagreeing and arguing about the business snowballed into arguing about everything,” adding that “space away from Justin” is what she needed.

She told Us Weekly she moved into their guest bedroom in February and that by the end of May, she felt ready to “take the next step toward separation.”

After that, she and Justin began to “rotate” between staying at their shared apartment and staying at their primary house, making sure Bobbie and Brooks stayed put so that their “routine” and “life” wouldn’t “change.”

Whitney, notably, did not include Justin in her Instagram summer dump when mentioning all the people and things “that bring [her] life the deepest sense of happiness and joy.”

Instead, she credited “time with [her] family, Bobbie & Brooks, sunrises, sunsets, food, golf, friends, mountains, sunshine [and] healing.”

We were previously told the financial stress the Roses have been under in recent years contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.

Whitney, for her part, has navigated the ups and downs — and pressures — of launching Wild Rose Beauty, Sōl People, Prism and the “Wild Rose Podcast.”

Meanwhile, Justin — who now serves as the president of Awakend — was notably fired from his senior executive role at LifeVantage Corporation shortly after his and his now-estranged wife’s infamous Season 2 “Love Is Art” scene aired.

During the intimacy exercise, cameras captured the duo stripping down to their underwear and covering each other in body paint.

Justin was out of work for a year, and Whitney has said that the career change significantly affected their relationship and household dynamic.

During Season 4, she told Katsanevas that she and Justin — who was not wearing his wedding ring at the time — were unsure of whether they wanted to continue their marriage.

Whitney — whose relationship with Justin began when he was her boss and before either of their previous marriages had ended, which got them both “excommunicated from the Mormon church” — had repeatedly shut down divorce speculation.

In January 2025, she told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” that split rumors “have been circulating for five years now,” insisting that Justin — who was sitting in the audience — was “not going anywhere.”
