About us
For more than 60 years, NASA has been breaking barriers to achieve the seemingly impossible—from walking on the Moon to pushing the boundaries of human spaceflight farther than ever before. We work in space and around the world in laboratories and wind tunnels, on airfields and in control rooms to explore some of life’s fundamental mysteries: What’s out there in space? How do we get there? And what can we learn that will make life better here on Earth? We are passionate professionals united by a common purpose: to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research. Today, we continue NASA’s legacy of excellence and innovation through an unprecedented array of missions. We are developing the most advanced rockets and spacecraft ever designed, studying the Earth for answers to critical challenges facing our planet, improving the air transportation experience, and so much more. Join us as we reach for new heights and reveal the unknown for the benefit of humanity.

Griffin-1 has passed the test. 💪 After weeks of being shaken, spun, and subjected to extremes, Voyager Technologies’ Griffin-1 lunar lander passed its environmental testing, meaning it can endure the rigors of its future journey to the Moon. The lander is expected to launch later this year through NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative. It will deliver more than 1,100 pounds of cargo and science to the Moon’s South Pole region — the site of our future Moon Base: https://lnkd.in/ear_NNnM

It's a new off-world record! 🏅 NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover has driven farther than any vehicle ever has on the surface of another planetary body. On Oct. 11, the rover's odometer hit 28.10 miles (45.22 kilometers), eclipsing the distance record set by NASA's Opportunity rover. “With all mobility systems fully operational and favorable extended-ground-life test results, we expect Perseverance to keep adding to this record for many years to come,” said Steven Lee, project manager of the Perseverance and Curiosity rovers. "It's indescribable. No matter how long we look at this, our brains are not processing this image in front of us. It is absolutely spectacular, surreal. There are no adjectives. I'm going to need to invent some new ones to describe what we are looking at out this window." On April 6, 2026, the Artemis II astronauts embarked on the first crewed lunar flyby in over fifty years and recorded observations of the Moon’s surface.
