Hollywood Burbank Airport is a mid-sized domestic airport located just north of Los Angeles in Burbank, CA. The airport is partnered with 10 airlines: Alaska, American, Allegiant, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and United - with service to dozens of nonstop destinations across the U.S. Hollywood Burbank Airport is in the final stages of constructing its new passenger terminal that will completely replace the current facility. Today, we hosted an advanced passenger simulation trial to help get our new terminal ready for opening day! As part of the event, participants went through a typical travel process, including: * parking in our new structure * checking in for their mock flights * going through screening at the TSA checkpoint * scanning their boarding pass at the designated departure gate After the trial, we got feedback on what worked - and what didn’t. It’s all part of the process of opening Southern California’s newest – and most convenient - airport facility. Up next: our final passenger trial later this month.
