Important information regarding rates, fees, and other cost information
Interest Rates on Pay Over Time Balance
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Pay Over Time
17.99% (Prime Rate + 10.99%) to 28.74% (Prime Rate + 21.74%), based on your creditworthiness and other factors as determined at the time of account opening. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
Penalty APR and When it Applies
29.99% (Prime Rate + 25.99%)
This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
This Penalty APR will apply to your account if you:
1. make a payment that is returned;
2. make 2 late payments in 12 billing periods; or
3. do not pay the Minimum Payment Due by the Closing Date of the billing period in which it is due.
How Long Will the Penalty APR Apply? If the penalty APR is applied for any of these reasons, it will apply, subject to applicable law, for at least 12 billing periods in a row. In addition, the penalty APR will continue to apply until after you have made timely payments with no returned payments for 12 billing periods in a row.
How to Avoid Paying Interest
Your due date is at least 25 days after the close of each billing period. We will not charge you interest if you pay your entire balance by the due date each month.

Penalty Fees
- Late Payment$39 or 2.99% of any past due Pay In Full amount, whichever is greater
- Returned PaymentUp to $39.
How We Will Calculate Your Balance:
We use a method called "average daily balance method (including new purchases)."
Variable APRs will not exceed 29.99%.
Variable APRs for each billing period are based on the Prime Rate published in The Wall Street Journal on the Closing Date of the billing period. If The Wall Street Journal does not publish the Prime Rate on that day, we will use the Prime Rate from the previous day it was published. If The Wall Street Journal is no longer published or stops publishing the Prime Rate, we may use the Prime Rate published in another newspaper of general circulation. If the Prime Rate increases, variable APRs (and corresponding DPRs) will increase. In that case, you may pay more interest and may have a higher Minimum Payment Due. When the Prime Rate changes, the resulting changes to variable APRs take effect as of the first day of the billing period during which the Prime Rate has changed. Variable APRs are accurate as of 10/14/2026.

OFFER TERMS
You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card or previous versions of this Card. You also may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer based on various factors, such as your history with credit card balance transfers, your history as an American Express Card Member, the number of credit cards that you have opened and closed and other factors. If you are not eligible for a welcome offer, we will notify you prior to processing your application so you have the option to withdraw your application.
You can earn $1,500 cash back in the form of Reward Dollars after you spend $50,000 (the "Threshold Amount") or more in eligible purchases on your Card within your first 6 months of Card Membership, starting from the date your Account is opened. Eligible purchases can be made by the Basic Card Member and any Employee Card Members on a single Card Account. Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases to meet the Threshold Amount do NOT include fees or interest charges, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments or purchases of other cash equivalents. Employee Card Members on your Account are not eligible for this offer. You will receive the 1,500 Reward Dollars within 8-12 weeks after you meet the Threshold Amount. To receive the 1,500 Reward Dollars, your Card Account must not be past due or cancelled at the time of fulfillment.
The Basic Card Member can redeem Reward Dollars for statement credits or for eligible items at Amazon.com checkout. The Basic Card Member must link their Card Account to their Amazon.com account in order to use Reward Dollars at Amazon.com. When a Basic Card Member uses Reward Dollars at Amazon.com, we will charge their Card Account for the purchase, deduct the Reward Dollars from the available Reward Dollars on their Card Account, and apply a credit to their Card Account to reflect the Reward Dollars used. If the Reward Dollars used do not cover the full cost of the purchase, the difference will remain charged to the Basic Card Member's Card Account unless they pay the difference with an Amazon Gift Card. The credit to the Basic Card Member's Card Account may appear during a different billing cycle than the charge for the purchase. Even if you expect a credit on a future billing statement, you must pay the minimum amount due on each billing statement by the payment due date.
To link the Reward Dollars on your Card Account to your Amazon.com account, you must first add your eligible Card Account to your payment methods on your Amazon.com account and then you can link the Reward Dollars on your Card Account to your Amazon.com account by either: (a) making a purchase with your eligible Card Account at Amazon.com; or (b) selecting Learn More next to your eligible Card Account at checkout and completing the steps. Please allow up to 72 hours for the Reward Dollars on your Card Account to be linked. If you want to use Reward Dollars on your first purchase after adding your eligible Card Account, you must link your Card Account via option (b) above.
When you link the Reward Dollars on your Card Account to your Amazon.com account, information about your Card Account will be shared with Amazon, and you'll be able to see and use the available Reward Dollars for that Card Account at Amazon.com. The information we share with Amazon will be used for the limited purposes of validating your eligibility to participate in Shop with Points at Amazon.com, linking your Amazon Site account to your American Express Card, and processing any purchases you choose to make by redeeming Reward Dollars. For more information about how we protect your privacy, please visit our Privacy Center.
All returns are subject to Amazon.com's policies and must be authorized by Amazon.com before we can credit your Card Account or return any Reward Dollars. If you used Reward Dollars for all or part of your order and any of the products related to your original order are returned, subject to Amazon's return policy, you will receive a refund of the amount charged to your Card, subject to Amazon's refund policy. If you would like the Reward Dollars returned to your Card Account instead of a refund, you must contact American Express within 60 days of receipt of the credit.
Amazon, the Amazon.com logo, the smile logo and all related logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions for Shop with Points at Amazon.com apply to eligible purchases made with Reward Dollars at Amazon.com.
Your period to spend $50,000 may be shorter than 6 months depending on when you receive your Card. Also, purchases may fall outside of the 6 month period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, if you buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped). You will receive the 1,500 Reward Dollars within 8-12 weeks after you meet the Threshold Amount. In rare circumstances, you may need to pay down your balance during the billing cycle to help free up your spending capacity to make purchases to meet the Threshold Amount. It may take a few days after payment for your spending capacity to be updated.
Offers may vary and you may see different offers in different advertisements. To take advantage of this specific offer, apply through this advertisement. This offer is not transferable. American Express reserves the right to modify or revoke this offer at any time.
If we determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this offer in any way or that you intend to do so, including if you return purchases you made to meet the Threshold Amount, we may not credit, we may freeze, or we may take away the Reward Dollars from your Card Account. We may also cancel any Card Accounts you have with us.
The Annual Fee for the Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card is $295.

Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. We group certain merchant codes into categories that are eligible for additional points. A purchase with a merchant will not earn additional points if the merchant's code is not included in an additional points category. You may not receive additional points if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as eligible for an additional points category. For example, you may not receive additional points when: a merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or a merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet.

There is no fee to use the service for customers electing to process only Card payments. Use of additional payment methods requires activation through an American Express® Specialist and a monthly platform access fee of $200 which will automatically renew each month, unless the service is cancelled or all additional payments methods are deactivated, as applicable. If additional payment methods are being used, with the monthly platform access fee, to the extent used, the first 400 check transactions and first 400 automated ACH transactions each month are complimentary, after which point a fee of $1.00 per check and $0.35 per automated ACH transaction will apply. American Express One AP® Statement Credit
Basic Card Members on a U.S. Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card Account ("Card Account") who make $250,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year ("$250,000 Purchase Requirement") are eligible to receive up to $2,400 in statement credits on their Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card Account in the following calendar year when they use their Card Account to pay for American Express One AP® fees between January 1 and December 31 of the following calendar year ("Active Credit Window"). A Card Account that has satisfied the $250,000 Purchase Requirement is considered a "Qualified Card Account". Card Members must separately request and be approved for a One AP account in order to use the service, and the Company that is responsible for One AP fees must be the same as the Company associated with the Card Account.
An eligible Card Member's One AP statement credits will be applied to their Card Account billing statement against any (i) then-applicable platform access fees, (ii) applicable transaction fees associated with their One AP usage, and/or (iii) applicable taxes, in each case as charged to the Qualified Card Account. The platform access fee will automatically renew each month, unless the service is cancelled or all additional payment method are deactivated, as applicable. To learn more about One AP's cancellation deadlines and requirements, please see the One AP terms and conditions below. One AP bills in arrears, meaning in order to utilize the full $2,400 One AP Credit in any Active Credit Window, you may need to incur One AP fees charged to your Qualified Card Account in December of the year in which you first meet the $250,000 Purchase Requirement. Each Card Account may only earn a total of $2,400 in credits per calendar year. Enrollment in the statement credit on your American Express Online Account is not required for the One AP Credit; however, you must request and be approved for a One AP account, and the Qualified Card Account must be the account to which your One AP fees are billed. If you need to change the Card being billed, you must call 1-844-358-4025. See https://www.americanexpress.com/oneap-getstarted to learn more and find out how to request a One AP account. American Express One AP® ACH may not be available to all customers.
Eligible purchases to meet the $250,000 Purchase Requirement are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. Non-card transactions (check, ACH) are not eligible purchases. Eligible purchases made by any Employee Card Members on the Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card Account will contribute to the $250,000 Purchase Requirement. Card Members can track their progress towards the current year $250,000 Purchase Requirement in the Benefits tab of their online Card Account and in the American Express App. Your status tracker will reflect your posted transactions, net of returns, up to the $250,000 mark.
Statement credits are typically reflected on your Card Account within a few days of the corresponding charge posting; however, it may take 90 days after an eligible transaction is charged to the Card Account for the statement credits to be reflected on your Card Account. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the One AP fee is refunded. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if One AP fees are billed to a card other than your Qualified Card Account. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide, and may reverse, any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance.

Employee Card - Category Alerts
Merchants are categorized based on what they primarily sell. You will not receive an alert if an Employee makes a purchase at a merchant from an approved category, whether or not you consider that purchase to be a part of a particular category.
Employee Card Spending Limits
Employee Card Spending Limits may be set up online or by calling the number on the back of your Card. The Spending Limit is not a guarantee that the Employee Card Member will be able to make purchases up to that limit. There are certain purchases where the limit does not apply, such as, for example, restaurant tips and hotel stays extended beyond their original reservation period, and the overall Account capacity is taken into consideration. You agree to pay all Charges without regard to whether any Charges exceed a limit, and you agree that we are not liable to you or any other person when a limit is not applied to any Charges and/or when Charges are incurred and billed that exceed a limit. For more information on the application of the limit, please refer to the Employee Card Spending Limits Terms and Conditions at www.americanexpress.com/spendlimits/terms, which will also be provided when you enroll Employee Card(s) in this feature.
Forfeiting Cash Back
You will not receive the cash back if your Card account is cancelled or in default at the time of fulfillment.
Global Assist® Hotline

Lowest Hotel Rates Guarantee
Valid only for American Express Card Members. If you book a qualifying hotel rate on amextravel.com or the Amex Travel App and then find the same room, in the same hotel, for the same dates, the same number of children and adults, the same rate type and, the same cancellation policy, the same change and refund policies, and the same deposit policies at a lower price online, before taxes and fees, we'll refund you the difference. Rate type refers to whether the hotel rate is prepaid at time of booking ("Pay Now") or payable at check-in ("Pay Later"). Deposit policies refer to any advance payment required to secure the reservation. For prepaid reservations, your claim must be submitted prior to your stay, before the date of check-in. For verification of "pay later" hotel bookings, your claim must be submitted within thirty (30) days after you have completed the hotel stay, and the customer service representative may instruct you to mail a copy of your hotel receipt to American Express within that time period. American Express will honor the lower price for verified requests. The "Lowest Hotel Rates Guarantee" policy applies only to online rates available to the general public and excludes (1) rates or discounts that are not available to the general public, including, but not limited to, corporate, group, charter, meeting/convention, AAA, government/military, and senior citizen rates/discounts; or (2) hotel rooms booked through or in combination with frequent stay, loyalty, points, coupon promotions, rooms won through contests or sweepstakes or transferred, or rooms booked on opaque websites that do not allow you to see the name of the hotel until your reservation is complete; or (3) promotional packages, deals, all-inclusive packages, or bundles that may include additional amenities such as parking, meals, or entertainment, or (4) rates booked through the Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection programs. No Foreign Transaction Fees
American Express will not charge any foreign transaction fee on the purchases you make outside of the United States with your Card. However, there may be circumstances where ATMs or merchants charge a fee on foreign transactions.
No Preset Spending Limit
No Preset Spending Limit means the spending limit is flexible. Unlike a traditional card with a set limit, the amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.
Pay Over Time
These terms will be effective through January 31, 2027.
Pay Over Time Option
Eligible Charges: Purchases made by you or any Additional Card Member on your account (along with any associated foreign transaction fees) and Annual Membership Fees are eligible. The following types of charges are ineligible: cash equivalents, certain insurance premiums, and any other fees owed to American Express. In addition, statement credits for eligible purchases, or any reversals of a statement credit, may be applied to either your Pay Over Time balance or Pay In Full balance regardless of where the eligible purchases originally posted.
Pay Over Time Settings: Pay Over Time on your account is initially set to On. There are two settings, On and Off. When set to On, eligible charges will be automatically placed in your Pay Over Time balance, up to your Pay Over Time Limit. When set to Off, no new charges will be included in your Pay Over Time balance. You can change this setting by visiting your online account or calling the number on the back of your Card.
Interest on your Pay Over Time balance: For charges added automatically to a Pay Over Time balance at the time they post to your account, we charge interest beginning on the date of each charge. For charges that we automatically move from your Pay in Full balance to your Pay Over Time balance on your Closing Date, we charge interest from the day after they are added to your Pay Over Time balance. We will not charge interest on charges automatically added to your Pay Over Time balance if you pay your account Total New Balance by the Payment Due Date each month. If at the time you turn on Pay Over Time, you're already carrying a Pay Over Time balance from your last billing period, we will charge interest on new eligible charges added to a Pay Over Time balance from the transaction date. However, for charges that we move from your Pay In Full balance to your Pay Over Time balance on your Closing Date, we will charge interest from the day after they are added to your Pay Over Time balance. You must pay in full, by the Payment Due Date, any charge or portion of a charge that is not added to a Pay Over Time balance.
Pay Over Time Limit: We assign a Pay Over Time Limit to your Account. Your Pay Over Time Limit is the maximum amount you may carry as a balance. We may increase or decrease the amount of your Pay Over Time Limit and will tell you if we change that amount. Your Pay Over Time Limit may be different than the total amount you are allowed to spend on your Card. You must pay at least the Minimum Payment Due by the Payment Due Date each month to keep your account in good standing. The Minimum Payment Due includes all Pay in Full charges, any interest accrued on your account and a portion of your Pay Over Time balance.
No Preset Spending Limit: No Preset Spending Limit means your spending limit is flexible. Unlike a traditional Card with a set limit, the amount you can spend adjusts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.
Effective on February 1, 2027, the above terms will be replaced with the following terms:
Pay Over Time
Eligible Charges:
Purchases made by you or any Additional Card Member on your account (along with any associated foreign transaction fees) and Annual Membership Fees are eligible.
Pay Over Time Balance:
On the Transaction Date, eligible charges will be automatically added to your Pay Over Time balance on the transaction date provided by the merchant, or on the date when an eligible Annual Membership Fee is charged to your account, subject to your Pay Over Time Limit. If the addition of an entire charge to your Pay Over Time balance would cause your Pay Over Time balance to exceed your Pay Over Time Limit, that charge will be added to your Pay In Full balance. The transaction date provided by the merchant may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses the shipping date as the transaction date. Charges with the same transaction date will be added to your Pay Over Time balance in any order we choose.
On the Closing Date, if 1) your Pay Over Time balance is less than your Pay Over Time Limit, and 2) there are eligible new charges in your Pay In Full balance, you authorize us to automatically move all or a portion of those charges to your Pay Over Time balance, subject to your Pay Over Time Limit. If the addition of a charge to your Pay Over Time balance would cause your Pay Over Time balance to exceed your Pay Over Time Limit, we will move a portion of that charge to your Pay Over Time balance, up to your Pay Over Time Limit. The remaining portion of the charge will remain in your Pay In Full balance. Eligible charges will be moved to your Pay Over Time balance in order of the transaction dates. Charges with the same transaction date will be added to your Pay Over Time balance in any order we choose. A new charge, or a portion of a new charge, will not be eligible to be moved to your Pay Over Time balance on your Closing Date if:
● that charge is subject to a Foreign Transaction Fee;
● that charge or a portion of that charge is disputed (for a reason other than fraud) and that dispute is not resolved in the same billing period in which it was opened;
● that charge or a portion of that charge is reported as fraudulent and either (i) we determined the charge is fraudulent in the same billing period in which it was posted to your Account, or (ii) we have not yet determined if the charge is fraudulent in the same billing period in which it was posted to your Account;
● your Account is cancelled or enrolled in a payment program.
Pay Over Time Limit:
We assign a Pay Over Time Limit to your Account. Your Pay Over Time Limit is the maximum amount you may carry as a balance. Your Pay Over Time balance cannot exceed your Pay Over Time Limit. If the addition of a charge would cause your Pay Over Time balance to exceed your Pay Over Time Limit, that charge will be added to your Pay In Full balance. We may increase or decrease the amount of your Pay Over Time Limit and will tell you if we change that amount. Your Pay Over Time Limit may be different than the total amount you are allowed to spend on your Card. We may approve or decline a charge regardless of whether your Card Account balance is greater or less than your Pay Over Time Limit. You must pay at least the Minimum Payment Due by the Payment Due Date each month to keep your account in good standing. The Minimum Payment Due includes all Pay in Full charges, any interest accrued on your account and a portion of your Pay Over Time balance.
Interest on Your Pay Over Time Balance(s):
For charges added automatically to a Pay Over Time balance at the time they post to your account, we charge interest from the transaction date. You must pay in full, by the Payment Due Date, any charge or portion of a charge that is not added to a Pay Over Time balance.
