Tell Claude "US prospects only" and let it run 4,000 rows unsupervised, and the filter can quietly vanish somewhere in there. Samuel Oluwafemi Afariogun taught the fix at GTME.School: his workflow sources YouTube channels through Apify, checks each channel's About section for free contact info before paying for enrichment, then checkpoints every 500 rows in Claude Code instead of letting it run unsupervised. 1,631 contacts, 3,283 emails sent, and a 22.41% interested rate among the 116 who replied. Full breakdown in his post 👇
Spent 70 minutes teaching at GTME.School last week. Walked the group through a campaign I built with Apify and Claude Code. Sourced YouTube channels by subscriber count, niche, language and region, then enriched the whole thing end-to-end without leaving the terminal. Most of the session was about the boring part. Test your Apify actors by hand before you hand them to Claude. Some actors return a channel name and nothing else. No subscriber count, no description, no location. And don't ask Claude which actor to use. It'll point you at the most popular one, not the one that fits your logic. Then we covered mapping your flow before you touch Claude Code. You should know the data you want, the data you don't, and the exact order of your enrichment steps before you write a single prompt. Otherwise, you burn credits watching it wander. That's where someone asked a question: "I tell Claude US prospects only. The sample looks right. I let it run 4,000 rows. When I open the export, the country filter is gone." That's the real failure mode of agentic list building, and almost nobody talks about it. My fix is that I don't let it run 4,000 rows. I let it stop every 500 and report back on ICP fit before continuing. Clean, it keeps going. Not clean, I've burned 500 rows instead of four thousand and two hours. A few qualifiers from the actual build: - Over 1K subscribers. Below that, you're mostly emailing someone who started a channel for fun and got their family to subscribe. At 1K, they've decided it's a business. - Posted in the last 30 days, so no abandoned channels. - English only, niche locked to SaaS, tech, fintech, business or startups. - And read the About section before you pay for enrichment. Plenty of creators list a partnership or marketing email right there. I had Claude write a small Python script to pull those straight out of the descriptions. Free contacts before the waterfall. The campaign this came from: 1,631 people contacted, 3,283 emails sent, 116 replies, 26 interested, which is 22.41% of everyone who replied. One of those replies told us his current agency charges $4K a month and only does long-form scripting, no shorts. That single reply changed how we priced the offer.
