I'm 12. My "Bug Report" article just beat my "Viral Origin Story" (and other funny things that happened today)

Two days ago, I posted my origin story: "I'm 12. I don't have a laptop. I built a full-stack AI SaaS on my Android phone."

It went viral. I felt like a genius. I thought that would be my legendary "number one" post forever.

Well, plot twist. 📉📈

Yesterday, I posted a follow-up about how a Senior Dev found a catastrophic 500 database error in my app, broke my signup flow, and then became my very first user.

Today, I woke up and checked my Dev.to analytics.

The internet literally loves watching my app break more than watching me build it. 😂 And honestly? I respect it. Building is cool, but debugging a production Postgres trigger at 6 AM on a POCO C55 while your parents are asleep? That's comedy. That's drama.

But today got even weirder. Let me give you the daily diary of a 12-year-old SaaS Founder.

🎤 The Headmaster Made Me Teach the 12th Graders

While my "Bug Report" article was quietly racking up views and unicorn reactions 🦄 on Dev.to, I was sitting in school.

I casually mentioned my app to my Senior Math Sir. He told the Computer Science Teacher. The CS Teacher told the Headmaster.

Before I knew it, the Headmaster pulled me out of my regular classes and sent me to the 12th-grade classroom.

Do you know what 12th graders are doing in India right now? They are 17 and 18 years old, stressed out of their minds, memorizing textbooks for their board exams. And here I am, a 12-year-old, standing at the front of their classroom, explaining how I built a full-stack AI mentor using Supabase, Groq, and a phone screen.

Code doesn't care about your age. It only cares about your logic. (I think a few of them were secretly jealous that I don't have to study for board exams yet).

👑 I Crowned Myself Champion

I came home from school, opened KODA, and looked at the Code Jam Showcase Wall we just deployed.

Because I am the Founder, the Host, and the Lead Engineer... I have a secret Admin button. I clicked it, and I literally crowned myself the Champion of my own hackathon.

Instantly, my app theme turned cyan, my profile got a 👑, and my AI memory doubled. Is it slightly unethical to be the referee of your own competition? Maybe. Do I look awesome in the Champion theme? Absolutely. 💅

🤫 The Silent Signups

While I was standing in front of the 12th graders giving my speech, I checked my Supabase database on the bus ride home.

Two new users had signed up: suhithashreesaravanan and vasanthmurali006.

There were no 500 errors. No crashes. The "Un-killable Postgres Trigger" that Senior Dev @nyaomaru helped me QA-test yesterday held perfectly strong. They were just sitting inside the app, probably staring at the UI, wondering what to ask the AI.

This is the best feeling in the world. You build the machine, you fix the bugs, and then the machine catches users while you are at school.

🎭 The Takeaway

If you are building in public, don't just share your wins. Share your catastrophic database crashes. Share the moments you panic at 6 AM. Share the funny reality of being a kid trying to run a global hackathon.

People connect with the struggle way more than the success. My "failure" post just beat my "success" post, and I couldn't be happier about it.
