Being named one of the Top 7 of the weekโit's always a pleasant surpriseโespecially as I wasn't expecting it.

I'm still trying to figure out a good domain name for my art.
Built StacksNG for the Africa Deep Tech Challenge 2026: an offline AI coding assistant for the African fintech stack (Paystack, Flutterwave, Monnify, Termii).
Runs on an 8GB laptop, no GPU, no internet.
A DEV.to reader found 2 real bugs in it after I published my write-up. I fixed both, added regression tests, documented all of it.

Eh, not really a win. the database migration tool i've been working on for years, i have to rip it all apart because I'm thinking of building an offline, local, desktop app one instead because I don't like people's data going through a network just to migrate from one db to another.
I guess the win here is that i finished mapping out all the plans, what needs to be written and a newly chosen tech stack.
I also got an offer from a Malaysian bank for a senior dev position, already signed their paper and I'm joining them next month... bureaucracy! yikes!!
Congratulations on your new job! And I think you've made the right decision to switch toward building an offline app.
I got this masterpiece... ๐

๐ Shipped a bunch on side project 2 this week โ fixed a nasty blank-page bug on Trending, added trending/suggested-users sidebars, smoothed out message alert animations, and got the footer social links live. Small stuff, but it's adding up! ๐
I finally got around to redoing my portfolio site into something that's not completely terrible. Post coming soon ๐
